Zalo disconnect alerts on Telegram

When a sales Zalo account drops, customers' messages go unseen. Hubz tells your team's Telegram group right away so you can reconnect in time.

What it does

  • An alert when a Zalo account stays disconnected longer than the minutes you choose: 5 by default, from 1 to 120.
  • An alert when the account reconnects.
  • An alert when the account is blocked or restricted.
  • An alert when the connection is unstable: more than 6 reconnections within 1 hour.
  • A Send test button to check the bot and the group before you rely on it.

How to turn it on

Steps 1 to 3 happen in Telegram, steps 4 and 5 in Hubz.

  1. Create a bot with @BotFather

    In Telegram, open @BotFather, send /newbot and name your bot. BotFather replies with the bot's token: keep it like a password.

  2. Add the bot to your team's group

    Create or open the Telegram group where your team wants the alerts, then add the new bot to it.

  3. Get the group's Chat ID

    A group's Chat ID looks like -100…, a public channel's like @channelname. Common ways: add an info bot such as @userinfobot to the group, or post a message in the group, open https://api.telegram.org/bot<token>/getUpdates and read chat.id. This happens on Telegram's side.

  4. Paste the token and Chat ID in Hubz

    In Hubz, open Admin, section "Alerts when a Zalo account disconnects", Telegram part. Paste the token and the Chat ID, and choose how many minutes of disconnection trigger an alert.

  5. Send a test

    Click Send test. When the test message reaches the group, alerts are ready.
