Connect Zalo to Odoo with Hubz

Hubz connects to Odoo 17, 18, 19 and 20 (Community and Enterprise) through the Hubz API. The integration is in beta and open to early customers: sign up and BMS sets it up with you.

What the integration does

• A Hubz button in an Odoo contact's chatter opens that contact's Zalo conversation.
• Hubz customers are linked to Odoo contacts by phone number (PUT /v1/contacts/{id}/links with externalType res.partner).
• Zalo messages are logged in the contact's chatter.
• The Hubz app opens right inside Odoo (whole-app embedding).

Odoo on a private network

An Odoo installed in an office, behind NAT, cannot receive webhooks: use GET /v1/events to poll events.

Calling again with the same values does not create a duplicate. GET /v1/links?externalType=res.partner&externalId=42 finds which Hubz customer an Odoo contact is.
