Hubz shared inbox to manage multiple Zalo accounts on one screen

If you do business in Vietnam, you do business on Zalo. Hubz lets you manage multiple Zalo accounts from one shared inbox, so your sales and customer service team can answer every customer from one screen, in a web browser. Today Hubz opens its early access: signup is open to any business, and the first batch starts with a group of companies from the week of 9 November 2026.

Here is why we built it, what it does today, and how to get in early.

Why Zalo matters for foreign companies in Vietnam

Zalo is Vietnam's most used messaging app. Customers, distributors and suppliers expect to reach your staff there, not by email and not through a contact form. In practice, that means your team ends up running sales on personal Zalo accounts: the account on a salesperson's phone, or one "company number" passed from desk to desk.

For a manager, especially one who does not read Vietnamese all day, this is a blind spot. Conversations live on individual phones. You cannot see who replied, what was promised, or which customer has been waiting since yesterday.

The story behind Hubz

Hubz is built by BMS, an Odoo implementation partner in Vietnam since 2018. The idea came from a training centre where several staff members shared one Zalo number to answer students. The result was predictable: messages were missed because everyone assumed someone else had replied, some customers got two different answers, and nobody knew who had told the customer what.

The staff were not the problem. A personal Zalo account is designed for one person on one phone. We wanted something simple: several people answering customers together, without anyone borrowing anyone else's phone.

How Hubz helps you manage multiple Zalo accounts

Connect several personal Zalo numbers

Each personal Zalo number is added to your company workspace by scanning a QR code with the phone. Text, images (shown as a grid), files, stickers, links, contact cards and Zalo groups all come through. Hubz alerts you when a number disconnects, so you can deal with it before customers are left waiting.

A Zalo shared inbox for the whole team

Conversations from all numbers land in one place and update in real time. Filter by Zalo number, filter by status (open or closed), and search when you need to find an earlier conversation. When a case is handled, close the conversation; if the customer writes again, reopen it.

Clear ownership of every conversation

A staff member takes a conversation, or a manager assigns it to a specific person. Every customer has a clear person in charge, so the team knows who is looking after whom. Internal notes stay invisible to the customer, tags help you sort customers, and quick replies save typing the same answer twice. If your team currently has to share one Zalo account with a team, our step-by-step guide shows how to organise it.

Zalo for business, with the history kept by the company

Hubz has four roles: owner, supervisor, team lead and agent. You group staff into teams, and for each Zalo number you decide which team can reply and which can only view. Customers nobody has taken yet sit in a shared customer pool.

Each customer has a profile. Chat history belongs to the Zalo number, not to the staff member, so when someone leaves, the history stays with your company; you hand their customers over by assigning another person in charge. Actions are written to an audit log.

Honest about the risk

Hubz connects personal Zalo accounts, not Zalo Official Accounts (OA), through an unofficial connection. A number can therefore be restricted or blocked by Zalo, and we will not pretend otherwise. What Hubz does to reduce the risk:

  • Hubz does not send bulk messages and does not add friends automatically.
  • Hubz alerts you when a number disconnects.
  • Our Terms of use explain the risk and recommend a dedicated work number, a human pace, no bulk messages, and a Zalo OA for broadcasts.

Hubz runs over HTTPS, each company's data is kept separate, and secrets are encrypted in the database. For the practical side, read how to use Zalo for sales safely.

Already on Odoo? Hubz connects to it

Many companies in Vietnam run Odoo. On an Odoo contact, a Hubz button in the chatter opens that customer's Zalo conversation. Zalo customers are linked to Odoo contacts by phone number, and Zalo messages are logged in the contact's chatter. The Odoo integration is open to early customers: sign up and BMS sets it up with you. See the details of the Odoo Zalo integration.

Frequently asked questions

How can a business manage multiple Zalo accounts?

With Hubz, you add each personal Zalo number to your company workspace by scanning a QR code. All conversations then appear in one shared inbox in the browser, where staff take, answer and close them, and managers assign them.

Does Hubz work with Zalo Official Accounts (OA)?

No. Hubz connects personal Zalo accounts, the numbers your sales staff actually use. For broadcasts or official announcements, a Zalo OA is the option to consider.

Can a Zalo account be blocked when using Hubz?

Yes, it can happen: Hubz uses an unofficial connection, so Zalo may restrict or block a number. Hubz does not send bulk messages or add friends automatically, and it alerts you when a number disconnects. Our Terms of use recommend a dedicated work number and a human pace.

How do I join the Hubz early access?

Sign up at app.hubz.vn/signup; it is open to any business. The first batch starts with a group of companies from the week of 9 November 2026, and people who sign up are invited to the Hubz founders' group on Zalo ("Hội Sáng lập Hubz").
