Multiple Zalo accounts on one computer: several Zalo windows on one screen

Zalo is how Vietnam does business. It is the country's most used messaging app, and customers, suppliers and even landlords expect to reach you there, not by email. A foreign-owned company soon ends up with several Zalo numbers: sales, customer service, the local manager. This guide shows four practical ways to run multiple Zalo accounts on one computer, step by step, with the trade-offs of each, and explains when a team needs something different altogether.

A note before you start: all four methods use Zalo's own apps (Zalo PC, Zalo Web or the Zalo Android app). Zalo, Windows and the browsers change their interface from version to version, so button labels on your machine may differ slightly from what is written here.

Method 1: One Windows user account per Zalo number

If you want Zalo PC open for two numbers without logging out and back in all day, give each number its own Windows user account. Each Windows account keeps its own data, so the two Zalo PC installs never mix.

  1. Open Settings with Windows key + I.
  2. Go to Accounts > Family & other users. On Windows 11 this can appear as Accounts > Other users.
  3. Choose Add someone else to this PC, or Add account. If you do not want to use a Microsoft email, pick the option to add a user without a Microsoft account; Windows then creates a local account.
  4. Switch to the new account: open Start, click the account picture and choose the new user. Windows key + L also takes you to the lock screen, where you can pick a user.
  5. In the new Windows account, download Zalo PC from Zalo's official site, install it and log in to the second number by scanning the QR code with that number's phone.

Good: each number is fully separated, downloads and images never mix, and nothing unusual is installed.

Not so good: you have to switch users to read the other number, new messages on the account you are not using are easy to miss.

Method 2: Browser profiles with Zalo Web

Zalo Web runs in the browser at chat.zalo.me. Each Chrome or Edge profile keeps its own cookies and sign-in, so each profile can hold a different Zalo number. This is the most common way to use two Zalo accounts on a PC, or more, because there is nothing to install.

In Google Chrome

  1. Click the profile picture in the top right corner of the Chrome window.
  2. Choose Add to create a new profile. You can continue without signing in to a Google account.
  3. Name the profile after the Zalo number (for example “Zalo Customer Care”) and give it its own colour.
  4. In the new profile's window, open chat.zalo.me and scan the QR code with the Zalo app on that number's phone.
  5. Repeat for each number. Chrome can create a desktop shortcut for each profile, so the right number opens in one click.

In Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the profile icon in the Edge toolbar.
  2. Choose Add profile and create a new one; a Microsoft account is not required.
  3. Open chat.zalo.me in that profile's window and scan the QR code with the phone.

Good: free, quick, several numbers open at once, one window each.

Not so good: web sessions can log out and need a new scan; many users notice that older messages do not fully appear in a fresh session; and five near-identical windows make it easy to answer from the wrong number.

Method 3: Zalo PC and Zalo Web side by side

If you only need two numbers, this is the fastest way to have Zalo PC with multiple accounts in practice: one in the app, one in the browser.

  1. Open Zalo PC and log in to the first number as usual.
  2. Open your browser, go to chat.zalo.me and scan the QR code with the second number's phone.

Do not log the same number into both Zalo PC and Zalo Web. Many users notice that when a number logs in to a new session on a computer, the previous session may be signed out.

Good: no extra Windows accounts or browser profiles.

Not so good: comfortable for two numbers only; beyond that you are back to Method 2.

Method 4: An Android emulator

An Android emulator such as BlueStacks or LDPlayer runs a “virtual phone” on your computer. You install the Android version of Zalo inside it and log in as you would on a phone.

  1. Download the emulator from its publisher's official website, never from a re-upload on a third-party site.
  2. Install it, open it and sign in to Google Play with a Google account.
  3. Find and install Zalo from Google Play inside the emulator.
  4. Log in to the Zalo number and complete whatever verification Zalo asks for.

Read this before you use an emulator

  • The Zalo phone app usually keeps a number signed in on one device at a time. Logging in inside an emulator can sign out the real phone and trigger a new verification.
  • Logins from unfamiliar devices, and frequent device changes, are among the signals users commonly report before an account is asked to verify again or gets restricted. See how to use Zalo for sales safely.
  • Emulators are heavy on memory and CPU; on a standard office laptop they are slow.
  • A modified emulator or a modified Zalo build can carry malware, and it would sit right next to all your customer conversations.

Keep emulators away from your company's main Zalo number.

Multiple Zalo accounts on one computer: what each method lacks for a team

All four methods solve the “one person, several numbers” problem well. As soon as two or more people look after customers, the limits show:

MethodSeveral numbers at oncePer-employee permissionsAssigning a conversation to an ownerMessage history
Several Windows accountsNo, you switch usersNo: anyone with the Windows password reads everythingNoScattered across accounts and machines
Browser profiles + Zalo WebYes, one window per numberNo: anyone who opens the profile reads everythingNoTied to the web session, often incomplete after a new login
Zalo PC + Zalo WebYes, practical for twoNoNoSplit between the app and the browser
Android emulatorYes, if the machine copesNoNoInside the emulator, can be lost if it is removed or signed out

For a manager who does not read Vietnamese, this is where visibility disappears: two people answer the same customer, some messages are never picked up, and nobody can say who promised what. If your team already shares a single number, read our guide on how to share one Zalo account with a team. And when the history lives on each employee's machine, the day someone resigns is the day their customers may follow them: see what to do when staff leave with Zalo customers.

When a team needs more: one shared inbox for every Zalo number

Hubz, by BMS, lets you manage multiple Zalo accounts in one shared inbox for the whole team. Instead of one window per number, you add each personal Zalo number to one company workspace by scanning a QR code. Hubz runs in the browser, on computers, phones and tablets.

  • One screen for every number: the conversations of all numbers in one place, filtered by number and by status (open or closed), with search and real-time updates.
  • Clear ownership: a staff member takes a conversation or is assigned as the person in charge; internal notes and tags keep the whole team informed.
  • Permissions per number: four roles, teams, and per-number team rights to reply or view only. An audit log records the actions taken in the workspace.
  • History that stays with the company: the chat history belongs to the Zalo number, not to the employee. When someone leaves, you hand their customers over by assigning another person in charge.

To be clear: Hubz connects personal Zalo numbers through an unofficial connection, so a number can still be restricted by Zalo. Hubz does not send bulk messages, does not add friends automatically, and alerts you when a number disconnects.

Hubz is now open for early access, with a first batch of businesses starting the week of 9 November 2026. Join the early access to be invited to the Hubz founders' group (“Hội Sáng lập Hubz”), the Zalo group where early users talk directly to the product team.

Which method should you pick?

  • One person, two numbers: Zalo PC plus Zalo Web is enough.
  • One person, three numbers or more: browser profiles, each with its own name and colour.
  • Android emulator: only if you really must, and never for the main number.
  • Two or more people serving customers across several numbers: a shared inbox with permissions and assignment.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use two Zalo accounts on a PC at the same time?

Yes. The quickest way is to log in to the first number in Zalo PC and the second in Zalo Web at chat.zalo.me. For more numbers, give each one its own Chrome or Edge profile.

Does Zalo PC support multiple accounts?

To keep Zalo PC open for two numbers without logging in and out, create a separate Windows user account for each number and install Zalo PC in each. Each Windows account keeps its own Zalo data.

Is it risky to use Zalo in an Android emulator?

It can be. The real phone may be signed out, the account may be asked to verify again because of the unfamiliar device, and an emulator downloaded from an unofficial source can carry malware. Avoid it for your company's main number.

How can a team work on several Zalo accounts together?

Logging in on one computer gives no permissions, no person in charge and no shared history. A shared inbox such as Hubz brings the Zalo numbers into one screen, sets team rights per number and assigns each conversation to a person in charge.
